At some point in life, everyone dreams on going on their own grand American adventures. But it’s not all about road trips and canyons. From immense mountains to ancient ruins, there is so much to discover here.
The Americas are a place where anything is possible. Whether it’s exploring the Amazon Rainforest or trekking in the immense peaks of Patagonia that holds pride of place on your bucket list, you will find it here.
Here at The Bucket List Company, we have curated trips encompassing the highlights of America, from hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, to climbing the epic Mount Aconcagua and witnessing Rainbow Mountain.
Each country in the Americas has its own identity. In the U.S., everything is bigger, better – from the casinos to the food portions! Central America is the relaxed haven where luscious beaches meet verdant rainforests.
South America holidays can give the sense that this is a continent running on its own version of time. The beating heart of Lima, Peru is followed by the casual bustle of authentic Cusco, yet when you reach the Sun Gate of Machu Picchu, the clock seems to stand still – with the earliest relics of ancient civilisation before you.
Whichever corner of the continent calls your name, an American adventure trip will always be nothing short of life-changing.

Here’s what some of our awesome customers had to say:
“Having recently returned from visiting Machu Picchu with The Bucket List Company, I cannot recommend them highly enough! What a life-changing experience! The trip was exceptionally organised and Keith is the best expedition leader out there.
Even when I was struggling with the altitude, my health was closely monitored by the group and I was really well looked after. This will definitely not be my last Bucket List trip. Thank you so much Keith!”
Inca Trail trek to Machu PIcchu
“I’ve just arrived back after a trip with The Bucket List Company to Peru to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Everything went very smoothly and we were well looked after. The hotel accomodation and travel were both good.
The trek itself was really well organised, and the quality of the food provided by Chef Freddie was first class. The extra tours on the trip were well worth it. We always felt part of the group and the experience was worth every penny. Thanks Keith!”
Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu
“I still can’t quite find the right word to describe my experience with The Bucket List Company. Had the most incredible time, met some amazing people, and experienced things I never thought I would. I’d recommend both Peru, Machu Picchu and The Bucket List Company to anyone – you honestly will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for a life changing 10 days.”
Lares Trek to Machu Picchu
“I just got back from Peru after doing the Lares Trek to Machu Picchu (and Rainbow Mountain) and have had the greatest experience. From the chaos of landing and being woken up by an earthquake in Lima to meeting awesome kids in schools and on the trek, there was a grin stuck to my face at every turn. A camera simply does not do justice to the sights you will see during the excellently varied itinerary.
If you happen to be on the fence about booking a trip with The Bucket List Company, get off now and do it. You will not regret it, trust me. Many thanks to Keith and crew and the group I was lucky enough to be in.
Warning: the depression upon return is real!”
Lares Trek to Machu Picchu
“I’ve just come back from doing the Lares trek in Peru. This was a trip that just kept giving and my mind is still catching up from everything I experienced.
This trip had everything and feel privileged with the experience that bucket list company arranged.I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of booking a trip, they are well organised and the experiences are once in a lifetime, pictures just dont do it justification, seeing it with your own eyes is a thousand times better.
Massive thanks to Keith and his staff for sorting it all out!”
“Rocking up to the airport ready to meet the other “bucket listers” who signed up to the same adventure; I felt nervous of what was ahead and who would I be spending the next 10 days with.
My nerves were put at rest instantly. I now have 10 new awesome friends!
We were welcomed by Keith at the airport and from then on in, everything was wonderfully organised. So much so that Keith even helped us find a TV to watch the Arsenal game during the trek when were in the middle of Lares. Totally going above and beyond!
The knowledge and passion to travel really shone through and made the entire experience a true dream. The Bucket List Company are smaller than other companies in this market; however don’t let that put you off, this is a strength!
They are a super knowledgeable company, led by people who have a real passion for what they do. It was all about my bucket list of activities and ticking them off – this was their main objective. They were also happy to tweak plans to fit others needs; this level of flexibility (including the payment plans/options) is not so welcoming in larger companies.
I would encourage everyone to jump onto the adventures The Bucket List Company offer – go on do it now!
I am already signing up to my next adventure with the Bucket List Company!”
