We not only want to provide you with the best value for money, but we also want to provide you the best quality trip we possibly can. We believe that our trips are once in a life time experiences and we want you to be talking about them for the next 20 years!
Our amazing team may be small, but along with being super friendly we also have extensive travel and expedition knowledge. Our tours have been pieced together with the best leaders, in-country team, equipment and extra excursions to make sure our customers come back happy and ready to plan their next Bucket List trip.
Our team of office staff, expedition leaders and in-country teams live and breathe adventure travel. They feel they have the best job in the world being able to inspire wanderlust and provide you with an amazing once in a lifetime trip.
In fact, one of our Kilimanjaro guides has now summited Kilimanjaro over 200 times – now that is the man you want taking you to the top! If you have any questions about equipment or training for your adventure then all you need to do is just pick up the phone and one of the team will be on hand, happy to help.
When you are travelling across the world you want to make sure you are being looked after. We have worked with our in-country teams now for a number of years, and have created strong professional bonds with the best local guides. Over the years, we have been able to perfect our itineraries to ensure we are offering you the trip of a lifetime.
Our teams are here to look after you; they are there to make sure you succeed your goal, be that climbing Kilimanjaro, learning to scuba dive or white water rafting the Zambezi River. Whether you’re interested in Everest Base Camp costs or what equipment you need to trek the Inca Trail, our support team is here so you can ‘always keep exploring’.
People come in all shapes and sizes, different backgrounds, different professions and different cultures. But our travellers all have the same things in common – a sense of adventure, and most importantly, a sense of humour! Our travellers have ranged from 18 years of age to 60+ years of age, but everyone gets on.
One thing is guaranteed when joining an adventurous trip or expedition – you are going to meet new friends that will stay with you for a long time. Out adventure travel trips build a thriving community of people sharing their journeys exploring the world and ticking off their travel bucket lists.
Many people travel with groups of friends or as couples. At The Bucket List Company we attract many people who are travelling on their own. As we have said previously – one thing is for sure on our trips, you are going to make new friends on your adventures.
Group travel can seem scary to some, but our leaders are great at making sure everyone integrates into the group and feels part of the team. Don’t worry though, there is still plenty of time for you to explore on your own if you wish.
Before our trips take place we also hold optional Training Weekends. These are a great time to come along and meet the people you are going to be travelling with, also giving you the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have in the lead up to the trip.
If you are booking as a solo traveller you don’t need to worry about any scary single supplement to pay with us. If you wish to have some privacy then of course you can pay a single supplement on some trips, but it is by no means compulsory.
Let us take care of you. We are the experts in ticking off adventure bucket lists, after all. When you book a trip with us, we take all of the hassle away from you.
We will book everything for you, all you need to worry about is getting yourself to the airport and getting yourself home again (however, if you want us to organise this too, we can). We will sort everything out for you, so you just need to meet with your leader at the airport and they will look after you until your return.
Some of our treks are tough and the last thing we want is for you to worry about the logistics. Leave that to us and you just concentrate on having the adventure of a lifetime.
We know that everyone has different plans, so with our trips you can bolt on extras. Want to go on a safari after climbing Kilimanjaro? No problem!
Or maybe take some time to relax on the white sands of Zanzibar? How about a longer trip to tour around Nepal, or maybe you want to bolt on your next PADI scuba diving course? Let the team know what you want to achieve out of your trip and let us plan your dream itinerary.
Here’s what some of our awesome customers had to say:
“I loved the ability to be able to pay in instalments so that I could tick Learning to Dive off my Bucket List. The company gave us all the info we needed before we left and were quick to respond to queries.
Keith couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful whilst we were away. The staff and instructors at the diving school were very professional and still managed to be great fun. They were very supportive and made sure the whole group gained our qualifications. The location on Gozo was fabulous and, although the accommodation was a bit tired, I understand it’s going to be completely refurbished so, if you’re on the next trip, you’re in for a real treat!”
“Morocco trip was truly wonderful. These guys have done their homework and have great knowledge and experience. It’s really hard to put into words how amazing this trip was. Stress-free experience from the second you meet at the airport. I’m booking my next trip with these guys this week. Life’s too short.”
“Just got back from the Everest Base Camp trek. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Would definitely recommend The Bucket List Company. Their UK leaders and local guides made sure that everyone was safe and well looked every day of the trip. I have been on two training weekends prior to departure, which were also very well organised and took place at great locations in Wales. Everyone at TBLC are super friendly and ready to answer your questions any time before, during or after the trip. Booking in advance and being able to spread the payments meant that I could afford the trip of my dreams despite being a uni student. No hidden costs, kit list received well in advanced so again it was easy to tick everything off it over a longer period of time.
Already booked two other trips. Huge thanks to the whole team, especially Keith (company owner) and Jake (best “not a tour guide” leader) for making our trip unforgettable! Can’t wait for the next adventure with the Bucket List Company!”
“I booked up to do Kilimanjaro as a bucket list activity. It was sheer luck that I discovered The Bucket List Company’s Facebook page, which lead me to their website. It was a spontaneous booking since I had a year plus (at the time) to then freak out, do training, get organised and buy equipment – all of which was provided in a detail information/check list email with attachments.
Even though it was only Kilimanjaro on my bucket list, my feet are getting itchy… I think I need to make another booking for another trip, which I’m already excited and nervous about!
I would recommend these guys 100% if you are contemplating booking an adventure. It’s the biggest achievement ANYONE could experience and with Keith, Gareth and Whitey… YOU CAN DO IT! The entire group of people that were brave enough to do this “wee walk” all successfully reached the summit. I shared some amazing banter, tears and laughs with you. Most importantly, I have the memories.”
“I can’t thank these guys enough… I just completed Everest Base Camp, and what an amazing experience it has been. From the moment of booking to getting home, everything has been thought of.
If you want a trip of a lifetime, with no hassle, meeting some amazing people, then book with these guys. I am already looking to book my next trip.”
I booked this trip on a little bit of a whim back in November last year. Although I am fairly well travelled have never done a trip with a company in quite this way before, generally I book and arrange everything independently. The Bucket List Company made everything super easy and took any stress out of planning for the trip (except maybe the training – but they even run training weekends for those who may be interested).
The whole experience ran smoothly from start to finish. Yes summit night was as hard as, if not even harder, than I had ever imagined but we had a 100% success rate to the top (which was far higher than some other similarly large travel groups going up at the same time as us). This was purely down to the quality and dedication of the team of guides and porters that Keith uses on every expedition. Our head guide Whitey was one of the friendliest and happiest individuals I have ever met, he had all of our names memorised on the first meeting and kept everyone motivated, smiling and feeling very safe throughout the expedition.
Either side of the expedition we were taken to see some of the local area, a market pre hike and a local school thereafter. This was not a tourist trap, The Bucket List Company has genuine links to the local area and is making a very real difference to the school. This part for me was one of the unexpected highlights and being able to spend a while playing with the children one of the more emotional parts of the trip. Such little extras are for me what makes a company like this and the whole experience even more special. I would 100% recommend The Bucket List Company. I have made some fantastic new friends, some wonderful memories and am already looking at making my next booking! Thank you Keith and Co.
