When will my direct debit be taken out of my account?
Your direct debit will be taken out of your account on the 1st of every month, unless you have specified and we have agreed with you a different date. Your direct debit needs to be set up 6 days before the end of the month to make sure it comes out on the 1st, if not then it will roll over onto the following month. The direct debit is cost of the adventure split equally between the number of months left before you depart.
Flights and Protection
Air Travel Arrangements are supplied by Wexas International ATOL 2873 and their booking conditions apply.
To provide protection for all money our customers send us, we operate a ‘client trust account’, this money is ring fenced and in the unlikely event of the company failure this money is protected. The Bucket List Company does not have access to this money until after we have returned from your trip.
How many places are on each trip?
We aim to take 16 people maximum on each trip, however if we have a lot of interest in a certain adventure we may take 2 groups on the same adventure or put on an extra trip at another date in the year.
Can I bring my children on the adventure with me?
We don’t recommend altitude trekking for minors. The majority of our treks either involve water or altitude, so for safety reasons we wouldn’t say this is a good idea. Everyone needs to carry their own kit and equipment, therefore it is not practical to have to be supporting someone else as well as yourself on an expedition. We are happy to discuss individual cases in further detail – just give us a call!
Why are there two prices and what is the difference between the land only price and full package price?
We offer both a land only package and a full package. The land only package doesn’t include flights, this is suitable for people who want to meet us in country and/or stay longer after the adventure. The full package is flight inclusive and we meet you at the airport and stay with you until you return back to the UK.
What is not covered in the total cost of the adventure?
The only things that are not covered within the price is:
Personal Spending Money
If you have chosen the land only package then flights are also not included
What are your Terms & Conditions & Cancellation policy?
Can you recommend somewhere to get my travel insurance from?
We use specialist Insurance Brokers, Campbell Irvine Direct for all of our insurance policies no matter what trip we are on. We know their policy includes everything we require in an insurance policy for all of our trips. You can easily get a quote from their website so try not to leave sorting your insurance out until last minute!
You don’t have to use Campbell Irvine if you have another in mind, just please be aware to check restrictions. For example many insurance policies that you get with your bank account will not include altitude and are not geared up for exciting trips like we offer!
What is your complaints procedure?
If you would like to make a complaint, please email [email protected] in the first instance. You will receive a response from us within 48 hours. If your complaint is not answered to your satisfaction please email again and put it for the attention of the Managing Director.

The Ultimate Guide to Kilimanjaro
Is Kilimanjaro on your bucket list? We’ve put together a fully comprehensive guide to Kilimanjaro which will give you everything you need to know about this wonderful adventure that lies ahead.
Here’s what some of our awesome customers had to say:
“Great adventure made even better by the team at the bucket list company. Nothing was too much and their calm heads when there were some challenges helped everybody have an amazing time. If you’re going to Base Camp, choose these guys as you are in safe and friendly hands.”

“I have just returned from my first trip with The Bucket List Company and can honestly say I had the most amazing time! Everything was very well organised with no hiccups along the way. Everything was well thought out and I can safely say this will be a trip I will be talking about for a very long time! I will be booking onto more trips for sure.”
“Well organised and very welcoming! Keith and the team were very welcoming and helped with my bucket list trip from beginning to end!”
“This bucket list ticks all boxes!
What can I say? I just back from the Mount Toubkal trip and it has been the experience of a lifetime.
Since I booked this trip, The Bucket List Company have kept in contact with me, asking if needed any help with anything and keeping me updated as well.
On the trip they really do look after you and you get great value for money. They make sure they hire the best local guides to help look after you and those that have the best local knowledge. What I liked about the company is that they help you on the trek and make sure that, if you are struggling a wee bit, they have guides there to encourage you on or go at your pace without rushing you.
If you are looking to tick stuff of your bucket list, they are the ones to make that dream happen. I have already booked Nepal for 2020 and will be looking for a trip in 2021.

“When you book a Bucket List experience you want the company you book with to understand that for you this is once in a lifetime event and make it that little bit different. Having travelled with three other ‘group travel’ companies I can say that TBLC understand more than most that the little things matter. The pre travel part is stand out; from a welcome gift on booking, monthly installment options or the excellent training weekends you get an early impression you will be looked after and when on trip you certainly are. I recently returned from EBC and the organisation an execution of the trip was excellent, once travelling you don’t have to think about a thing
And the care and attention from both UK and local guides cannot be faulted. A couple of days I found the going very hard but I always had someone by my side for reassurance and encouragement which I have to say probably got me to Base Camp. I would have no hesitation in recommending TBLC to others, they’re a first class company who helped me tick a biggie off that bucket list!”

“I still can’t quite find the right word to describe my experience with The Bucket List Company. Had the most incredible time, met some amazing people, and experienced things I never thought I would. I’d recommend both Peru, Machu Picchu and The Bucket List Company to anyone – you honestly will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for a life changing 10 days.”
