The research, conducted by the team at The Bucket List Company, analyses Google search data to reveal the destinations at the top of people’s bucket lists. The study also highlights the most popular destinations on each continent and which hotspots are growing in popularity.
Machu Picchu, the Taj Mahal & Lapland are the Destination at the Top of Everyone’s Bucket Lists
As one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, it’s hardly surprising that Machu Picchu is topping this list. Often referred to as the ‘Lost City of the Incas’, this UNESCO world heritage site was built around 1450 and showcases the intricate ingenuity of Inca engineering.
