This weekend, we are heading up to the big city for the Adventure Travel Show! We are very excited to be returning to the show for the second time, and this year we are coming back with a bang, presenting not one, but two talks about our own adventures around the world!

The Adventure Travel Show is the biggest event of its kind in the UK, attended by hundreds of excited travellers each year on their search for inspiration. Here, you can find over 70 free exhilarating talks on all aspects of adventure travel, 120 exhibitors and various workshops, whether you want to improve your travel photography or plan a self-supported long-distance journey.

The event is held in Olympia, London, and this year it will run on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of January. Tickets are just £20 for the weekend or £11 per day, but you can also get an exclusive extra 10% discount on advance tickets with our special offer code, ‘EXHIB’ here.

With events by inspiring individuals such as Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Julia Bradbury, Doug Allen, Ash Bhardwaj (and us!), this is an event you do not want to miss.

Here are the details on where to find us at The Adventure Travel Show 2020.

Stop by stand C19!

This year, we are returning bigger and better to stand C19 in the exhibitor hall. Stop by and visit us for a chat about our upcoming adventures throughout 2020 and all the way into 2022. Whether you’re interested in climbing Mount Kilimanjaro but don’t know which route to take, or are intrigued by the sound of one of our multi-activity adventures in Jordan, Croatia and Montenegro or Tanzania, we will be available all day to answer your questions.

We will be revealing more information about our Trailblazers and Bucket List Families launches, and giving out goodie bags with Bucketlisters and more inside. Check out our videos, browse the Bucketlister or Ultimate Kilimanjaro Guide, and join in with our adventure-themed activities throughout the day.

You can even enter our exclusive competition to win a FREE trip to Morocco, so make sure you stop by!

Whitey puts Kili in the spotlight

This year’s Adventure Travel Show is going to be made even more special by the presence of Julius John White – or “Whitey” as most people know him. Whitey is our top local Tanzania guide, and he is flying all the way to the UK to attend the show with us!

We can’t wait to introduce Whitey to the UK, and for you all to meet him at the show. There is no better person to ask about climbing Kili than Whitey, so be sure to say “hi” when you visit us.

Whitey is also taking his unrivalled expertise to the Discover Africa Theatre on Sunday to give an exclusive talk about his experiences over a lifetime of guiding clients up Kilimanjaro and on countless other adventures in Tanzania.

His talk is called, “The Mountain That Keeps On Giving: Lesson’s I’ve Learned From Over 200 Summits of Mount Kilimanjaro”, and it will be taking place on Sunday 19th from 14:30 to 15:00.

In his presentation, Whitey will explain what led him to become the world’s favourite Kilimanjaro guide, the official guide representative for the Kilimanjaro National Park authority and the first Tanzanian ever to win the Explore Tour Leader of the World award.

Come along to his free talk to hear about the lessons he’s learned climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, how you can get there, and the extraordinary healing that mountain climbing and adventure travel can bring in our daily lives.

Keith’s talk is one for anyone who has always dreamed of visiting Morocco but isn’t sure where to start when it comes to organising exciting activities on their trip. He will explain what makes Morocco such a fantastic destination for trekking, from the rugged peaks and valleys of the High Atlas Mountains to the rolling dunes and rocky hamada of the Sahara Desert.

You can also see a snapshot of what we’ve got up to on our awesome Morocco adventures, and find out what else there is to experience in this unique country, from hot air balloon rides to exploring the souks of Marrakech.

From chatting to Bucketlisters-to-be to presenting in from of the crowds, it’s going to be a great weekend. So, who’s coming along to join us? If you haven’t already got your ticket, now’s the time to do so.
