So whether you have trekking questions, want to know about Everest Base Camp altitude preparations or are simply looking for some travel advice, you can find it here!
When will my direct debit be taken out of my account?
Your direct debit will be taken out of your account on the 1st of every month, unless you have specified and we have agreed with you a different date. Your direct debit needs to be set up 6 days before the end of the month to make sure it comes out on the 1st, if not then it will roll over onto the following month. The direct debit is cost of the adventure split equally between the number of months left before you depart.
Flights and Protection
Air Travel Arrangements are supplied by Wexas International ATOL 2873 and their booking conditions apply.
To provide protection for all money our customers send us, we operate a ‘client trust account’, this money is ring fenced and in the unlikely event of the company failure this money is protected. The Bucket List Company does not have access to this money until after we have returned from your trip.
How many places are on each trip?
We aim to take 16 people maximum on each trip, however if we have a lot of interest in a certain adventure we may take 2 groups on the same adventure or put on an extra trip at another date in the year.
Can I bring my children on the adventure with me?
We don’t recommend altitude trekking for minors. The majority of our treks either involve water or altitude, so for safety reasons we wouldn’t say this is a good idea. Everyone needs to carry their own kit and equipment, therefore it is not practical to have to be supporting someone else as well as yourself on an expedition. We are happy to discuss individual cases in further detail – just give us a call!
Why are there two prices and what is the difference between the land only price and full package price?
We offer both a land only package and a full package. The land only package doesn’t include flights, this is suitable for people who want to meet us in country and/or stay longer after the adventure. The full package is flight inclusive and we meet you at the airport and stay with you until you return back to the UK.
What is not covered in the total cost of the adventure?
The only things that are not covered within the price is:
Personal Spending Money
If you have chosen the land only package then flights are also not included
What are your Terms & Conditions & Cancellation policy?
Can you recommend somewhere to get my travel insurance from?
We use specialist Insurance Brokers, Campbell Irvine Direct for all of our insurance policies no matter what trip we are on. We know their policy includes everything we require in an insurance policy for all of our trips. You can easily get a quote from their website so try not to leave sorting your insurance out until last minute!
You don’t have to use Campbell Irvine if you have another in mind, just please be aware to check restrictions. For example many insurance policies that you get with your bank account will not include altitude and are not geared up for exciting trips like we offer!
What is your complaints procedure?
If you would like to make a complaint, please email email@example.com in the first instance. You will receive a response from us within 48 hours. If your complaint is not answered to your satisfaction please email again and put it for the attention of the Managing Director.

The Ultimate Guide to Kilimanjaro
Is Kilimanjaro on your bucket list? We’ve put together a fully comprehensive guide to Kilimanjaro which will give you everything you need to know about this wonderful adventure that lies ahead.
Here’s what some of our awesome customers had to say:
“I had the most amazing time on my Bucket List trip to Morocco. The trip was very well planned. I loved the food, the people on our trip, the places we stayed and of course our guide Gareth, who was absolutely brilliant. I would definitely book another trip in the near future. Thank you for an amazing experience.”

“I can’t thank these guys enough… I just completed Everest Base Camp, and what an amazing experience it has been. From the moment of booking to getting home, everything has been thought of.
If you want a trip of a lifetime, with no hassle, meeting some amazing people, then book with these guys. I am already looking to book my next trip.”

“WOW… words cannot describe the experience of taking a trip like The Bucket List Company provides…
I just got back from the Mt. Toubkal Trek and everything was beyond perfect. The food was stunning and we never went hungry, the team and guides were beyond supportive – always professional and friendly. The amazing memories we all made will be cherished forever. I can’t thank you all enough.”

“I booked up to do Kilimanjaro as a bucket list activity. It was sheer luck that I discovered The Bucket List Company’s Facebook page, which lead me to their website. It was a spontaneous booking since I had a year plus (at the time) to then freak out, do training, get organised and buy equipment – all of which was provided in a detail information/check list email with attachments.
Even though it was only Kilimanjaro on my bucket list, my feet are getting itchy… I think I need to make another booking for another trip, which I’m already excited and nervous about!
I would recommend these guys 100% if you are contemplating booking an adventure. It’s the biggest achievement ANYONE could experience and with Keith, Gareth and Whitey… YOU CAN DO IT! The entire group of people that were brave enough to do this “wee walk” all successfully reached the summit. I shared some amazing banter, tears and laughs with you. Most importantly, I have the memories.”

“When you’re embarking on a challenge like Kilimanjaro, you want to be sure you’re booking with a company who know what they’re doing and have experience of that particular challenge. When we booked with The Bucket List Company, they let us know exactly what we needed to do, from visas to the all-important kit list.
Keith from The Bucket List Company was with us on this trek and this was his 10th time summiting Kilimanjaro. The in-country lead guide had done it over 200 times, and our particular guide had done it 176 times. With that level of experience, we were in good hands. Kilimanjaro is a very real challenge, but if you’re motivated to do it, The Bucket List Company will give you a great chance of fulfilling your dream.
We now have memories that will last a lifetime and have The Bucket List Company to thank for getting us safely to the summit. Highly recommended!”

“Just returned from Morroco, where we hit the dizzy heights of Mt. Toubkal. This being my first solo trip, I was pretty nervous, but it was an amazing experience from start to finish with a great group of people. Everything was organised so well – it felt like we moved seamlessly from one environment to the next. I can’t recommend these guys enough, and I know I will certainly be taking more trips with them in the future.”
