So you have booked your Bucket List Trip and now it is time to get training!
Throughout the year we offer various training weekends to our Bucket Listers.
These weekends take place in the mountains of England & Wales for one reason and that is so we can Train!
The idea of the weekends are
- We can go walking!
- You can meet Leaders
- You can meet other Bucket Listers
- You can test your equipment
- You can have a weekend away with ‘Like Minded People’
Throughout the weekend we will also cover
- Self-management and safety
- Clothing and equipment choices
- Dealing with heat, cold and altitude
- Health and hygiene
- Hydration and nutrition
- Supportive group dynamics
- Working with porters
As we like to make things as affordable as possible we are offering the training weekends again with a monthly payment option. you can pay for the weekend with 3 x monthly payments of £50 per month.

We spend the training weekend trekking for the Saturday and Sunday. We advise that you bring the equipment that you are going to be taking with you on your expedition.
You will need to bring –
- Walking Boots
- Day Pack
- Trek Clothing
- Water Bottle
- Sleeping Bag – doesnt need to be the one you are taking on your trip.
The price includes Accommodation, Breakfast & Lunch on the Friday and Saturday night. It also includes 2 days of training from your UK leaders who run our Bucket List Trips. The only additional cost will be your evening meals in the local pub!
Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is Adventure Travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it. Weather conditions, road conditions, and the health of participants can all contribute to changes. The Trek Leader and our local agent will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but an easy going nature will be an asset!
