This trek offers fascinating landscape, Bhotia (Tibetan) Buddhist culture mixed with local tradition, high Himalayan passes, panoramic view of Annapurna range, and beautiful villages in Annapurna foothill. We travel by bus to Besishar and follow well-maintained trail through Marsyangdi river valley to Manang. Ascend the steep and often snowy trail that leads to 5335m Thorangla (pass), cross the pass and then descend to Muktinath. The descent continues to Jomsom.

No experience is needed, however we strongly recommend you practice and train well. You will require a reasonable amount of fitness and a strong will to succeed. Remember that you are walking between 4 and 8 hours a day, uphill to an altitude of 5335m.
Training should involve long uphill walks (with a daypack) to accustom yourself to long distance hiking. Once you have booked on the trip, you will be given an advice pack which will contain information on how to train and make sure you are prepared physically to make the trek.
Once you have booked your place on the trip, you will receive a Kit List from us containing all the kit/equipment you will need to complete the trek successfully. This will ensure you have everything you could possibly need.
